Two-week voyage of discovery through Panama and Cuba
This two-week trip takes you through the vibrant cultures and natural wonders of Panama and Cuba. Start in Panama City, where rainforest hikes in Soberanía National Park, a boat tour on Lake Gatún and a visit to the Emberá indigenous community offer a mix of nature and tradition.
You then fly to Cuba, where colonial charm and revolutionary history await you.
Explore Havana from the roof terrace and in a vintage convertible, visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum in Santa Clara and enjoy the colourful streets of Trinidad and Cienfuegos. Highlights include hiking in the Viñales Valley, snorkelling in Punta Perdiz and immersing yourself in Cuban music, coffee and cigars.
Return to Panama for a final city tour before flying home with unforgettable memories of two unique countries.
Day 1: Panama City
Welcome to Panama!
After your arrival, you will be taken by private transfer to your hotel in charming Casco Viejo. On a guided city tour, you will get to know the highlights of Panama - including the historic Casco Viejo, the modern Cinta Costera and other sights.
End the first evening in a relaxed atmosphere - with a stroll through the historic district, a delicious dinner with local specialities or a drink in a stylish rooftop bar with a breathtaking view over the city.

Day 2: Emberá indigenous community
Today you will travel deep into the rainforest and visit the Emberá community. Get to know their fascinating traditions, their artistic crafts and their unique way of life - a cultural experience you won't forget!

Day 3: Havana
After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport and fly to Havana, Cuba. On arrival, you will meet your local tour guide and drive to the heart of the historic centre.
In the evening, enjoy a unique rooftop terrace tour with panoramic views of Havana's iconic skyline and colonial architecture.

Day 4: Havana
Immerse yourself in the charm of Old Havana on a guided city tour through the cobbled streets, lively squares and colonial sights.

Day 5: Trinidad via Santa Clara
Travel through the Cuban countryside towards Trinidad.
On the way, make a stop in Santa Clara to visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum, an important historical monument to the revolutionary leader. You arrive in Trinidad in the afternoon and check into your hotel on the hill overlooking the city.

Day 6: Colonial charm & sugar valley
Explore Trinidad, one of the best-preserved colonial cities in Cuba, on a guided tour through its colourful streets and historic buildings.
In the afternoon, head to the Valle de los Ingenios, once the centre of Cuba's sugar industry, to learn more about the history of the region and enjoy the sweeping views of the valley.

Day 7: Cienfuegos via El Nicho
Today, a scenic drive takes you to Cienfuegos, known as the "Pearl of the South".
On the way, you will stop at the El Nicho waterfalls for a short hike and the opportunity to refresh yourself in natural pools.
In the evening, enjoy a city tour through the elegant streets and the waterfront promenade of Cienfuegos.

Day 8: Punta Perdiz
Leave Cienfuegos and head towards Playa Girón, known for the Bay of Pigs invasion - and today for fantastic snorkelling and diving.
Spend the morning exploring the crystal-clear waters of Punta Perdiz, teeming with colourful marine life.
In the afternoon, continue your journey back to Havana.

Day 9: Viñales
Today, head to the lush Viñales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit a traditional tobacco farm to learn how the world-famous Cuban cigars are made and enjoy an easy hike through the valley, surrounded by dramatic limestone mogotes and vibrant farmland.
Return to Havana in the evening.

Day 10: Havana
Enjoy a relaxing morning in Havana - ideal for a last stroll through the old town, souvenir shopping or, if you wish, taking part in a salsa class.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Panama City, arriving at around 5.00 pm.

Day 11: Panama City
Enjoy your last day in Panama City as you wish. Discover the city on your own, stroll through Casco Viejo or along the Cinta Costera and soak up the flair of the metropolis.
Depending on your departure time, you will still have time to relax before you are taken to the airport for your evening flight to Frankfurt.
