Day 1: Bogotá
After your arrival in Bogotá, you will be welcomed and taken to your hotel. Bogotá, located high in the Andes, is Colombia's cosmopolitan capital, rich in culture, history and lively neighbourhoods. Stroll through La Candelaria or explore the chic Zona Rosa with its boutique shops, bars and first-class restaurants.

Day 2: Bogotá
Spend the day exploring Bogotá at your own pace. Stroll through the colonial streets of La Candelaria, visit museums such as the Museo del Oro or the Botero Museum or head to the Zona Rosa for a day of shopping and gastronomy. An optional excursion to the famous salt cathedral of Zipaquirá could also be interesting.

Day 3: Bogotá
Another day to delve deeper into the treasures of Bogotá. Take the cable car up to Monserrate to enjoy breathtaking views of the city, or take an optional graffiti tour to explore the urban art scene. Bogotá's bustling markets, such as Paloquemao, are also worth a visit to discover fresh produce, local crafts and authentic street food.

Day 4: Bogotá - Villavieja
Today you make your way from Bogotá to Villavieja. This small town is the gateway to the Tatacoa Desert, one of Colombia's hidden gems. Villavieja itself has a delightful charm, but its proximity to the desert, known for its stargazing and red-grey landscapes, makes it a unique stop on your journey.

Day 5: Tatacoa Desert - San Agustín
Start the day by exploring the fascinating Tatacoa Desert, a vast area known for its bizarre rock formations and clear night skies. Then continue your journey to San Agustín, famous for its archaeological sites and ancient statues.

Day 6: San Agustín - Popayán

Day 7: Popayán

Day 8: Armenia
Today you continue to the coffee region, the heartland of Colombian coffee production. After arriving in Armenia, a town surrounded by rolling hills and coffee plantations, you will take a picturesque walk through a local coffee finca in the afternoon and learn about the coffee production process.

Day 9: Cocora Valley - Salento
Today you will take a trip to the Cocora Valley, home to Colombia's national tree, the wax palm, which can grow up to 60 metres high. Enjoy a guided hike through this surreal landscape and then visit the colourful town of Salento, known for its colonial architecture and lively craft shops.

Day 10: Armenia - Medellín
Today you travel from Armenia to Medellín, a city known for its impressive transformation from a dangerous past to a cultural centre. After your arrival, you can either explore the city's vibrant night culture or relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 11: Medellín
A day at leisure in Medellín. Visit the Museum of Antioquia, take the famous cable car to get a fantastic view over the city, or opt for an optional excursion to Guatapé and the El Peñol rock formation.

Day 12: Medellín - Cartagena

Day 13: Getsemaní
